Shea Moisture released a cosmetics line years ago and set the beauty world on fire! Since then they’ve been slowly releasing new gems into their collection that help us lovely melanin infused beauties slay with ease. Now I’m not a huge makeup person because I simply don’t have the time to purchase, learn to apply, and then apply each step properly. But I do have a thing with lipstick. And when I say “thing” I mean an enormous obsession. So I could not be more thrilled when Shea Moisture gifted me with eight (EIGHT!!) of their Luscious Lipstick line.
12 Red Lipsticks For Brown Skin Beauties
The Shea Moisture Luscious Lipstick line comes in 10 distinct unique shades. These lipsticks have a smooth buttery texture that makes application very easy. The main featured ingredient: Raw Shea Butter of course! And I didn’t expect anything less. Shea Moisture has consistently released products that they are proud to back whole heartedly and that always stems from the list of ingredients they choose to include. By incorporating raw shea butter into the lipstick, it provides a high quality silk appearance on the lips that provides tons of moisture. No body likes chapped lips!
Best part? The lipstick doesn’t bleed or feather off at the ends of your lips like many silk textured lipsticks do. I often prefer matte lipsticks for that very reason, and was very pleased/surprised that after application and several meals the lipstick still held its ground pretty well. Plus I must admit that I am all about the visuals and the packaging on these lipsticks is super cute. The brown theme with the Shea Moisture logo gives it the professional look + feel, while the clear bottom makes it easy for me to figure out which beautiful shade am I going to wear. Check out my individual swatches and thoughts on the collection below.
These lipsticks are not only super pigmented but are also affordable (about 10.00 bucks each). You can purchase these lipsticks and other Shea Moisture cosmetics from Target, Ulta or the Shea Moisture website itself (Most of the time it is sold out on Shea Moisture’s site)

Thank you for the swatches. Wild Orchid and Black Plum are for me.
