November Kolour Conscious Box Review

I received my first Kolour Conscious Box back in July and was pleased with not only the box, but with the mission/motto and concept of this subscription box all together. Where Kolour Conscious differs from other beauty boxes is, Kolour Conscious provides a platform for black owned businesses to be shared with people that may not even be aware of their existence. Once you sign up with Kolour Conscious and create a profile you get 4-6 products sent to you that are related to your interests. The box runs apprxoiatemly 35.00 dollars a month (25.00 dollars if you order a 12 month subscription).  If you use our coupon code: TANDT25 you get 25% off your first order!

Let’s dive straight into what came in my box this month!

This box came with 4 products varying between sample and full size. Here’s what my box looked like this month.

Braid Comb- Multi Use Comb

FINAL THOUGHTS:  I really loved my first Kolour Conscious box because it had some interesting products from companies I never heard of before. This time around I also wasn’t aware of these companies, but I wasn’t too thrilled with all of the products. I am super excited to try the Tender Organics Cleansing Bar and the Skin Rejoice Hand soap because they both align with my goals of using chemical free products. However I don’t wear make up so the eyeshadow didn’t really wow me, especially because I couldn’t find a website to go to, in order to see more of their brand/product line. The color of the eye shadow sent isn’t even a bright funky color that I would be able to use as a temporary hair color. What really confused me  the most was the Multi Use comb. There was no brand/company attached to it, and I don’t use combs regularly in my hair care regimen. Out of the four products I only have real use for 2 of them. I rate this box a 3/5 for effort, and I am still interested in seeing what the next month has to offer because of the variety of items that usually comes in the box. IF you want to give Kolour Conscious a try you can use our coupon code: TANDT25 to get 25% off your order!
