millennial in debt

Summer is just around the corner and for some of you that are boo’d up this one’s for you.

Dating during any of the seasons can be challenging (and even if you aren’t dating but just want to go out some where) the summertime is always the hardest. People usually have more free time (though as an adult… I have zero free time so…) and the weather is usually behaving. Then you add in balancing your bill money with your play time money and you run into a few problems. The first being obviously… how can you maximize your fun without maxing out your funds. The answer is simple… in a not so simple way.

Creativity is always the key to saving yourself money, and I personally appreciate a creative date rather than a purchased date. Though both have merit in a relationship, situation ship, or friendship, I like to rely on my creativity when it comes to both gifts and outings. People often time will appreciate the thought and sentiment more if it comes from a creative place. And I know for certain that my wallet appreciates it more as well.

Some of these date ideas will cost you more than others so choose wisely and obviously take into consideration the person that you are heading out on this date with. There’s a little something for everyone’s interests and if you’re really feeling brave or adventurous you can try and hit all 26 within the 12 week season. Good luck!
