1. Coconut Oil Shampoo 

To be used when you need gentle cleansing. This shampoo will help remove any buildup you may have without stripping away the natural oils in your hair. 

Ingredients:
– Coconut Oil
– Castile Soap
– Vitamin E Oil

2. Coconut Hot Oil Treatment 

Use this coconut oil DIY recipe as a type of deep conditioner once a week after you have cleansed your hair. You can also use a shower cap instead of a warm towel or use them both in tandem. If you have a steamer or hooded dryer, the heat will help to open up the strands to allow the coconut oil to penetrate the shaft. 

Ingredients: 
– Coconut Oil
– Warm Towel

3. Coconut Oil Hair Conditioner 

Use this to rinse out your shampoo and to condition your hair on wash day. You can use this as a leave in or mid week conditioner when you don’t have time to fully re-wash/co wash your hair.

-Essential Oil

4. Coconut Oil Hair Mask 

You can use this mask as a deep conditioner as well to pack your strands with moisture. You can rotate this recipe with the hot oil treatment every other week to give your hair its basic moisture needs on/during wash days.

5. Coconut Oil Hair Spray

Grab a spray bottle and whip up this DIY coconut concoction to act as a refresher during the week when your hair needs a moisture boost. 

Ingredients:
– Coconut Oil
– Distilled Water 
– Vitamin E Oil

6. Coconut Oil Hair Cream

Use this recipe as a styler mid week or after your wash day routine. Your twists/braid outs will come out popping and fully moisturized.

– Olive Oil
– Essential Oil
